Match Report: Team 51

Team 51 was excited to be back on court after the three-week break, and they didn’t disappoint! Each week, the girls continue to grow in confidence, with their skills and ball movement improving every game. It’s fantastic to see them putting the strategies from training into action.

The team showed outstanding teamwork and determination against a tall and challenging Paua Rose side. At halftime, the score was a close 2–3. Our centre court players worked tirelessly, the defence applied constant pressure to keep the ball out of the D, and our shooters combined well to create scoring opportunities.

Although the final score was 6–13, it didn’t reflect how competitive the game was or the amount of possession we had in our attacking third. A fantastic effort from everyone, with the girls showing resilience, teamwork, and a willingness to learn from coaches Loz and Lottie. Well done, Team 51!
