Match Report: Team 36

This week saw Carine 36 face off against Liwara 1 in a fast paced U12s Division 2 match up. After a challenging start to the game, Carine found its footing and took the lead, 9-2. 

The second quarter saw Carine continue its momentum. With fierce defence, excellent shooting and a strong mid court, Carine took a commanding lead at half time, 19-4.

Quarter 3 saw Liwara fight back, but in the final quarter Carine proved too dominant. The girls didn’t let any goals in and displayed excellent teamwork - solid passing and on target shooting - to finish the game an impressive 38-9. This win puts Carine 36 firmly towards the top of the leaderboard for U12s Division 2.

It was great to see an improvement in the girls’ fitness from all their hard work at training, and a number of new tactics put into play. A big thank you to our amazing coaches, Lynda and Neve, for helping our girls reach their full potential as players!
