Match Report: Team 35

Having secured our place in Division 1 for the Under 12s competition, we faced Paua Rose for the second week in a row. After coming away with the win last week, we knew they would be determined to respond, and they certainly brought plenty of intensity to what was another closely fought match.

It took us a little while to settle into the game and find our rhythm, which allowed Paua Rose to gain an early advantage. However, the team showed great determination and resilience to work their way back into the contest. By the end of the third quarter, we had reduced the margin to just one goal, putting ourselves in a strong position heading into the final quarter.

Unfortunately, we were unable to get over the line this week, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game. The girls never gave up and continued to support one another throughout the match. We have identified several areas to work on at training and with the team's positive attitude and willingness to learn, we look forward to coming back stronger and more prepared next week.
