Joining Carine Netball Club

Players must be registered to join our club. Once registered, all players are invited to attend the pre-season skills refresher training sessions which will be held prior to grading. 

​

Players above Net Set Go age groups must attend grading sessions. Grading enables us to create teams of similar skill levels/abilities with a balanced amount of shooters, defenders and mid court players. Grading is usually scheduled over 3 consecutive Sunday evenings.

Teams are then announced at Allocation Day. It is compulsory to attend this day so that team roles can be allocated and preferred contact information provided.

​

In 2017 it was decided that our club should have fixed training nights per age group. This enables players to have important training scratch matches and get to know other players in their age group. This will also allow for players and their families to plan around other commitments and activities before the season commences. 

​

Training nights 2024

Only 1 hour will be allocated per team for a court initially to assist in developing a training calendar.
 

Monday:

• 4pm onwards - 12U

​

Tuesday:

• 4pm onwards - 15U to 21U, Opens

Wednesday:

• 4 to 5pm- NSG year 2/3

• 5 to 6pm - NSG year 4

• 6 to 7pm - NSG year 5

• 6 to 8pm - U13s

 

Thursday:

• 4pm onwards - 15U to 21U, Opens

Alternative training times can be negotiated as long as all members of your team are happy to move.
