Our Club
Proudly Carine
For around 40 years, Carine Netball Club has been bringing players, families and our local community together through a shared love of netball.
What began as a small school-based club has grown to become one of Western Australia's largest community netball clubs, with players from Year 2 NetSetGO through to Opens competing in the Wanneroo Districts Netball Association Winter and Spring competitions.
We train locally at Carine Open Space and are proudly run by a dedicated committee and team of volunteers who give their time to make our club what it is today.
A Place for Every Player
At Carine, we believe there should be a place for everyone to enjoy netball.
For some players, it's their first experience of team sport. For others, it's about playing with friends, improving their skills or challenging themselves to see how far they can go.
We support players at every stage, with development opportunities and pathways for players, coaches and umpires. We're incredibly proud to see Carine players progressing into representative netball, but we're just as proud of the players who return each season because they love their team, their friends and being part of the club.
Because for us, netball is about more than what happens on the court. It's about confidence, friendships, belonging and being part of a community.
Keeping Girls in the Game
We know the teenage years can be a time when girls begin to step away from organised sport. At Carine, we're committed to creating an environment where our older players want to stay involved.
Our 18U Player Retention Program, launched in 2023, is part of that commitment. The program focuses on keeping our teenage players connected to netball, their teammates and the club, while supporting the social, physical and personal benefits that come from continuing to play sport.
More Than a Club
From our youngest NetSetGO players taking their first steps onto the court to our Opens players returning year after year, Carine Netball Club is a place to play, develop, compete, volunteer, make friends and belong.
We're proud of how far our club has come and excited about where it's going next.
