Match Report: Team 54

Last Friday’s netball game was a challenging one, with us coming away with a 11-1 loss. While the scoreboard looked tough, it didn’t really tell the whole story. We created heaps of opportunities throughout the game, worked hard to move the ball down the court, and had plenty of chances to score. Unfortunately, things just didn’t go our way, and the opposition managed to make the most of their opportunities.

We were already up against it before the first whistle, with one player away on holiday and another out sick, meaning we had to borrow a player from another team to help us out. Everyone gave it their all and kept fighting until the final whistle, but it’s understandable that some players are starting to feel a bit disheartened after losing most of our games this season. Even so, there were still positives to take from the match, including our teamwork, effort, and determination. If we keep supporting each other and focusing on the improvements we're making each week, the results will eventually come.
