Match Report: Team 33

Our U13s Team 33 put in a fantastic performance this week, falling just short on the scoreboard but showing enormous heart with only seven players on court. In a standout move from Coach Kayleigh, Lucy stepped up from defence into Goal Attack and earned herself Player of the Week, combining beautifully in the circle with Emma in Goal Shooter, who backed her up with confident shooting.

Down the other end, Violet and Ivy were rock solid in defence, applying pressure all game and keeping us in the contest. Through the mid-court, Grace, Annabelle and Audrey worked tirelessly and never gave up despite the heavy workload.

It was a genuine whole team effort, full of grit and improvement. We’re hopeful to welcome back our gun shooter Pippa next week as she recovers from her broken finger and we’ll continue building on this momentum each round.
