Match Report: Team 2

Carine 2 delivered an outstanding performance this week, overcoming some challenges to secure a convincing 46-30 victory over Carine 1.

With 4 of our 10 players unavailable this week, we had to find a last minute substitution shooter to step in for us and our whole team demonstrated incredible commitment, with all seven playing a full game and maintaining intensity from start to finish.

Defensively, we stayed extremely disciplined with strong marking, timely interceptions and consistent pressure that forced Carine 1 into errors. We worked cohesively, backing each other up and transitioning smoothly into attack where patience was key. We focused on moving the ball with control and purpose. This composure allowed us to dictate the pace of the game and maintain possession effectively, In attack, even with a new shooting combination our accuracy in shooting was a standout, with our shooters capitalising on each opportunity and building strong scoreboard pressure.  Our team has a strong focus on communication and talking to each other on the court, which was maintained throughout the game. Players continuously support each other and call out plays, helping us to work well as a unit and keep the game fun and rewarding for us.
