Match Report: Team 18

Team 18 faced a tough challenge this week against the top-of-the-table Marmion side, but the girls showed tremendous determination and resilience throughout the match. Over recent weeks, the team has been working hard at training on set plays into the circle and improving their spacing across the court, and it was fantastic to see these skills starting to come together during the game. The girls moved the ball with greater confidence and created some excellent opportunities through the midcourt and into attack.

Despite the very strong opposition, Team 18 never gave up and fought hard right until the final whistle, going down 18–46. Every player gave 100%, which was especially impressive considering we were missing part of the squad due to injury and had others returning after illness. The team should be incredibly proud of their effort, teamwork, and positive attitude. Their continued improvement each week is a credit to their hard work and commitment and that of our fantastic coach Hayley.
